This unit provides all that is required to convert a standard PC (PS2) keyboard (with a UK layout), into a serial ASCII keyboard.

 It consists of a microcontroller based electronic circuitry which provides the protocol translation and the interface conversion.

 A 6 pin mini din socket is provided for connecting the PC keyboard and the assembly is housed in a tough ABS enclosure.

 The output is via  a 9 pin D type socket. mounted on a flying lead.

The unit requires a 5 volt supply, connected through the 9 pin D.
