This unit converts any device with a PS2 output for input via the keyboard port on an XT based system. It is intended for use with barcode readers, card readers and similar peripherals.

It consists of a microcontroller based electronic circuitry that performs the protocol translation and system interface functions.

It is housed in an ABS enclosure that measures 90mm(L) x 50mm (W) x 25mm (H).

It is fitted with a 6pin mini Din socket, for connecting the PS2 device and a 5pin Din  connector, on a flying lead, for use on the system.
