This unit takes in a PS2 mouse or keyboard or both and produces keyboard and mouse outputs which are compatible with the Rosemount RS3 system.

It contains a microcontroller based electronic circuitry that performs the protocol translation and system interface functions for both keyboard and mouse.

It is housed in an ABS enclosure that measures 90mm(L) x 50mm(W) x 25mm(H).

It is fitted with a 6pin mini DIN socket for connecting the keyboard or mouse. A standard PS2 splitter is used to connect both keyboard and mouse to the unit. There are 2 flying leads on the unit, one is fitted with a 5pin DIN plug for the keyboard output and the other one is fitted with an 8pin connector for the mouse output.
