This unit converts a standard PS2 mouse into a serial version with 'Microsoft Mouse' protocol.

It consists of a microcontroller based electronic circuitry that performs the protocol translation and system interface functions.

It is housed in an ABS enclosure that measures 90mm(L) x 50mm (W) x 25mm (H).

It is fitted with a 6pin mini Din socket, for connecting the PS2 mouse and a 9pin female Dtype connector, on a flying lead, for the user's system.

Provision is made for the whole assembly to be fed from an external 5 volt supply.
