This unit converts any device with a PS2 output for input via the keyboard port of a DEC host system. It is intended for use with barcode readers, card readers and similar peripherals.

It consists of a microcontroller based electronic circuitry that performs the protocol translation and system interface functions.

It is housed in an ABS enclosure that measures 90mm(L) x 50mm (W) x 25mm (H).

It is fitted with a 6pin mini Din socket for connecting the PS2 device and an 7 pin mini din plug, on a flying lead, for connecting to the host system.
